Sterilization and Disinfection Workshop
TIU’s Dentistry Faculty on December 15, 2019, organized a workshop on ‘Sterilization and Disinfection’ for its students and some several faculty staff members.
The workshop, presented by Dr. Muhammed Faisal from Saniswiss Company, was also attended by Dr. Duran Kala , the Dean of Dentistry Faculty , Dr. Lezan Dawood ,the Polyclinic manager, as well as 27 research assistants and nurses from the faculty.
It was delivered in two different sections: Cross Infection and Sterilization and Disinfection, with the latter involving practical activities.
The workshop was mainly organized with the goal of developing, optimizing, and validating a successful chemical sterilization process that delivers the necessary sterility assurance level.
